Blog Assignment #1

This assignment has three parts, is due before 8 a.m. on Thursday, January 24 and worth 50 points.

Create your blog. There are two free services available to you for creating your blog. Use ASU Blogs or Blogger.com. It is simple to create a blog and each site provides extensive technical support. Take some time to customize the blog and you profile. If you need assistance, please collaborate with a class mate before contacting me by email.

Write your first blog posting. Once you're satisfied with how your blog looks, start writing. This would be a good time to review the tip sheet and other help I've provided here. In this posting you should identify your name, major and current status as a student (freshman, sophomore, junior, senior). Then, please describe your expectations of this class. Why did you register for it? What do you expect to learn? What do you think "women's studies" is all about? Please note that there is no "right" answer to these last few questions. I am curious about your position at the beginning of this class, your expectations, your experience coming into this classroom.

Be honest and forthcoming in these and all your written responses for this course.
