This performance, staged during Art Detour, was a comment on deferral, conspicuous consumption and the girth it inspires. The set included 40,000 nickels, 100 yards of tulle and 200 hand-made tissue paper flowers. I sat on the nickels and tossed them into vases of variously colored water. When my aim was good, I "rewarded" myself by eating five pieces of junk food. On the third day of the performance I began inviting passers by to feed me.
